Your family’s lovable pet can be your carpet’s worst enemy. Most carpet cleaners do not know how to effectively remove pet odors.  We not only remove the odor, we guarantee it and you don’t have to get rid of your pet!
There are two levels of odor treatment to choose from:

  1. 1. Minor Odor Treatment is effective, but not guaranteed. This process is generally recommended when it is not feasible to pull up the carpeting
or when the odor is not     severe.

  2. 2. Major Odor Treatment is used when the padding of the carpet is saturated and cannot be treated from the top of the carpet.  This process can reach
the affected area and successfully remove the urine.

Minor Odor Treatment

With this process, the affected areas are saturated with an odor treatment product to penetrate and make contact with all of the carpet pile.  Heavier areas may be injected with a special syringe.  This process will reduce the odor significantly, but will not eliminate the problem if the backing of the carpet and/or the pad is severely affected. Minor odor treatment is not guaranteed.

Major Odor Treatmeant

This treatment is guaranteed if we are allowed to reach all of the affected areas.  The carpet is pulled up and pad discarded. The carpet is thoroughly cleaned on both sides with a special product that neutralizes the urine.  The sub floor is also neutralized.  The next step is to apply a special odor barrier to the sub floor and if necessary, the baseboards as well.  The front and back of the carpet is then sprayed heavily with an odor treatment product and allowed to dry.  After the carpet has completely dried, it will be reinstalled over new pad.

Removing Urine Stains

When urine is fresh the chances for removing the spots are better. If the urine has been there a long time, the chances are slim.  However, urine will continue to deteriorate the carpet, so it is extremely important to remove the urine deposits even if the spot does not come out.  An enzyme product is sprayed on the spot whether it came out or not to continue to break down the urine and help with any odor.

Pet Body Odor

This situation can be extremely difficult and is not guaranteed.  The most effective way to treat this situation is to run a deodorizer through the machine during or after the extraction rinse.  Another method is to use an enzyme pre-conditioner prior to extraction and to treat with an enzyme deodorizer afterwards.  The key for pet owners is to vacuum the carpets to remove hair on a regular basis and to have your carpets professionally cleaned more often.
